I was motivated to prepare this website when I was on council and realized how little I knew about topics relevant to the ownership and governance of a strata. As Dunning and Kruger would have said, I too often found that I didn’t even know what I didn’t know!

Accordingly, this collection of topical, historical, and legal documents is intended to help owners and potential buyers make better decisions and better contributions to the governance of Harbour Cove.

A note about the author. Carl Meilicke has lived in Harbour Cove since 2002. Carl is a Professor Emeritus in the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine. He served on Council in 2005 -2008. Dorothy, his wife, is a retired nursing administrator and serves on the Garden Committee.
